On Saturday (4/3), SEEDS University of Lampung has held the inauguration ceremony for the new management and workshop for the 2023 period in Hall B of the Teaching and Education Faculty. The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of the Secretary of the Department of Language and Arts Education, Dr. Riyan Hidayatullah, M.Pd., and the Head of the English Education Study Program, Dr. Feni Munifatullah, M.Hum., as well as the supervisor of SEEDS, Mr. Fajar Riyantika S.Pd., M.A.
There are 152 students appointed as new members of the Society of English Education Department Students (SEEDS) 2023 that was attended in the FKIP hall, consisting of 26 members of 2021 students and 126 members of 2022 students.
In his remarks, the President of SEEDS for the 2023 period, Algerian Abednego H., expressed his gratitude for the continuity of the inauguration ceremony “Congratulations on carrying out your duties and good work. I hope that under this management, SEEDS can actively participate on campus as well as through work programs that have been planned,” said Algerian.
“Organization is one of the most crucial things for college students.” according to Mr. Fajar Riyantika, S.Pd., M.A., adviser of SEEDS, because it can enhance students’ skills , experiences, and connections at various aspects. Additionally, he expects that SEEDS will progress even further during this time than it did in earlier years, both in terms of accomplishments and achievements of the present and future English Department students.
Dr. Feni Munifatullah, M.Hum., as the Head of the English Education Study Program, also provided her support for the new administrators. She hopes that SEEDS can grow and become a more competitive company during the 2023 management period.

In addition, the Secretary of the Department, Dr. Riyan Hidayatullah, M.Pd., also delivered his remarks. He showed his pride for the English Education students who will start managing SEEDS in this period. “I’m sure that through this student organization, every members especially the younger one will get a lot of benefits, and always remember to prioritize usability and solidarity,” he said at the end of his feedbacks.
The event continued with the inauguration process, started with the vow of duties for the new boards led by Dr. Riyan Hidayatullah, M.Pd. Then, it is followed by signing the promise of accepting assignments, as well as submitting a decision letter. At the end of the event, the SEEDS 2023 inauguration ceremony and workshop went smoothly. Hopefully, the new management for the 2023 period can work together and help each other, in order to improve the quality of SEEDS.
